Visitireland guarantees no hidden costs or surprises. If you book a self-drive package from VisitIreland and we fail to disclose any required (mandatory) local supplements/fees we will refund these costs to you.
If within 10 days of ordering a self-drive vacation package from VisitIreland you get a lower bona-fide quote in writing for the same self-drive package (must be for like for like accommodation, rental car, rental car insurance, inclusions and required supplements) we will refund you the difference.
Visitireland highly recommends booking in advance during Irish Holidays, and for high season travel (mid May through mid September). In the event that you are unable to find accommodation in a given area we will buy back unused vouchers at full price and/or assist in finding alternative accommodation. VisitIreland must be notified by email of the inability to secure accommodation a minimum of 10 days prior to your departure. For whatever reason Visitireland will buy back one night "go as you please" vouchers for for any Ireland self-drive vacation for your entire party for any reason. Additional unused nights will be repurchased by VisitIreland at full price less a 30% handling fee.
Visitireland has one of the most simple and generous cancelation policies in the travel industry. In the event of outright cancelation VisitIreland will give 100% credit less a $ 100 USD service toward a future booking. If a refund is desired we will provide 70% of the purchase price. This credit / refund policy is valid anytime up to 3 days before scheduled arrival. After this time we will refund the same less any direct cancelation fees imposed by suppliers. If you cancel while you are traveling we will prorate a refund based the unused portion of your purchase price at 70% less any direct early termination and/or cancelation fees by suppliers or, provide a 100% credit toward any future booking less the portion used and any direct cancelation fees imposed by suppliers.
